What you can do
- Generate the IRN from a sales voucher. Seller, buyer, items, HSN codes and tax values come from the Tally voucher.
- Print or share the invoice with the QR. The invoice preview in the app carries the signed QR code, and so does the invoice you print from Tally.
- Cancel an IRN within the 24 hours the e-invoice system allows.
- Look up the IRN details of an invoice at any time.
- Generate the E-Way Bill from the IRN in the same flow. See E-Way Bill on mobile.
Back in Tally
After the IRN is generated, BizGrip writes the IRN, the acknowledgement number and date, and the signed QR code onto the voucher in TallyPrime. Your accountant sees an e-invoiced voucher in Tally, the same as if it had been done at the office.
How it is set up
- The owner turns on E-Invoice for the company in BizGrip settings. A company can use E-Way Bill only, E-Invoice with E-Way Bill, or neither.
- On the e-invoice portal, you create an API login for our GST Suvidha Provider, Fynamics. We help you do this on a call.
- You enter it in BizGrip once. It stays encrypted on your phone.
Questions about E-Invoice on mobile
Can I generate an E-Invoice (IRN) from my phone for a Tally invoice?
Yes. In BizGrip you open the sales voucher from TallyPrime and generate the IRN from it. The signed QR code and acknowledgement come back in seconds and are saved on the voucher in Tally.
What is saved back in Tally?
The IRN, the acknowledgement number and date, and the signed QR code are written onto the voucher in TallyPrime, so the invoice you print from Tally carries them.
Can I cancel an IRN from the app?
Yes, within the 24 hours the e-invoice system allows.
Do I need to log in to the e-invoice portal every time?
No. You create an API login for our GST Suvidha Provider, Fynamics, on the e-invoice portal once and enter it in BizGrip. It is kept encrypted on your phone, not on our servers.
Can I make the E-Way Bill from the E-Invoice?
Yes. Once an invoice has an IRN, you can generate its E-Way Bill from the same screen.
Does it cost extra?
No. E-Invoice is included in every BizGrip plan.
