What you can do
- Generate from a voucher. Party, GSTIN, items, HSN codes and taxable values come from the Tally voucher. You add the transporter, vehicle and distance. BizGrip can look up the distance between the two PIN codes.
- Generate from an E-Invoice. If the invoice already has an IRN, generate the E-Way Bill from it.
- Update the vehicle. Change the vehicle number or transport details (Part-B) when the goods move to another truck.
- Extend the validity when a delivery runs late.
- Cancel a bill within the 24 hours the portal allows.
- Share the PDF of the E-Way Bill with the driver or the customer, and see the bills generated on any date.
How it is set up
- The owner turns on E-Way Bill for the company in BizGrip settings. Each company can use E-Way Bill only, E-Way Bill with E-Invoice, or neither.
- On the E-Way Bill portal, you create an API login for our GST Suvidha Provider, Fynamics. We help you with this on a call.
- You enter that login in BizGrip once. It is kept encrypted on your phone.
After that, every bill is generated from the app. The request goes from BizGrip's server, through Fynamics, to the E-Way Bill system.
Back in Tally
Once the bill is generated, BizGrip writes the E-Way Bill number into the voucher narration in TallyPrime. It shows in Tally and on the invoice you print, and your accountant sees it the next time they open the voucher. If you cancel the bill, BizGrip can take the number off the narration again.
Questions about E-Way Bill on mobile
Can I generate an E-Way Bill from my phone using Tally data?
Yes. In BizGrip you open the sales voucher that came from TallyPrime and generate the E-Way Bill from it. Party, GSTIN, items, HSN codes and values are filled in from the voucher; you add the transport details.
Do I have to log in to the E-Way Bill portal?
Not for each bill. There is a one-time setup: you create an API login on the E-Way Bill portal for our GST Suvidha Provider, Fynamics, and enter it in BizGrip. After that, bills are generated from the app.
Is the E-Way Bill number saved in Tally?
Yes. BizGrip adds the E-Way Bill number to the voucher narration in TallyPrime, so it shows up in Tally and on the printed invoice.
Can I change the vehicle number or extend an E-Way Bill?
Yes. You can update the vehicle details (Part-B), extend the validity, or cancel the bill within the 24 hours the portal allows.
Where are my E-Way Bill portal credentials stored?
On your phone, encrypted. They are used only to talk to the portal through our GST Suvidha Provider and are not stored on BizGrip servers.
Does it cost extra?
No. E-Way Bill is included in every BizGrip plan.
