What you can do with Tally on your phone
- See the business at a glance. Sales, purchases, cash, bank, receivables and payables for today, this month or the financial year.
- Open any report you use in Tally. Ledgers, day book, sales and purchase registers, stock summary, and who owes you or whom you owe, with ageing.
- Create vouchers. Sales, purchase, receipt, payment, journal, contra, credit note and debit note. GST is worked out for you, and TDS can sit on the same invoice.
- Check before you save. See the invoice as Tally will print it, then send the same PDF to your customer.
- Generate E-Way Bills and E-Invoices from the voucher, without logging in to the government portals. See E-Way Bill on mobile and E-Invoice on mobile.
- Ask questions in plain English. "Who owes me the most?" or "Which stock hasn't moved this year?" Ask AI answers from your own Tally data.
- Add staff and your accountant with their own logins, and choose what each person can see and do.
How Tally gets to your phone
- 1
Install the Bridge
A small Windows app on the PC that runs TallyPrime. Sign in with your mobile number and pick your companies.
Download for Windows - 2
It mirrors your books
The Bridge sends an encrypted copy of your data to the BizGrip cloud and keeps it fresh every couple of minutes.
- 3
Open the app
Your phone reads that copy. What you create on the phone is passed back through the Bridge into Tally.
Tally stays in your office. Nothing connects in to the PC: the Bridge only makes outgoing connections, so there is no port to open, no static IP, no VPN and no remote desktop left running.
When the office PC is off
You can still open the app and see everything up to the last sync. If you create a voucher, it waits in a queue on the server and goes into Tally on its own when the PC and TallyPrime are back on, in the order it was made, for everyone in your team.
That is the main difference from running Tally itself on a cloud server: your books stay on your own PC and your own Tally licence. We compare the two in Tally on mobile vs Tally on Cloud.

Questions about Tally on mobile
Can I use Tally on my mobile phone?
Yes. TallyPrime itself runs only on a Windows PC, but with BizGrip your Tally data is on your phone: a small app on the PC, the Bridge, copies your books to the BizGrip cloud every couple of minutes, and the BizGrip app shows them on Android, iPhone or in a web browser. Entries you make on the phone go back into Tally.
Does BizGrip work with Tally.ERP 9?
BizGrip is built and tested for TallyPrime. If you still use Tally.ERP 9, call us before you buy and we will check your setup with you.
Does the office PC need to stay on?
For fresh data, yes: the PC with TallyPrime open and the Bridge running. When it is off you still see the data from the last sync, and vouchers you create on the phone wait in a queue and go into Tally once the PC is back.
How fresh is the data on my phone?
The Bridge checks Tally for changes every couple of minutes while the PC and TallyPrime are running, and the app shows when the last sync happened.
Is my Tally data safe?
Tally is never opened to the internet. The Bridge only makes outgoing connections to the BizGrip cloud, so there is no port to open, no VPN and no remote desktop. Each person signs in with their own mobile number and sees only what you allow.
Can I see more than one company?
Yes. Every plan supports several Tally companies, and you switch between them in the app.
How much does it cost?
Solo is ₹3,000 + GST a year for one user, Team is ₹5,000 + GST for three users, and Business is ₹7,000 + GST for five users. Every plan includes every feature.
